Our Club Director, Kristina Romero, has been in love with volleyball from a young age. A Valley Native, she played recreational and school volleyball, while also playing school and club softball. Growing up, her love for the game never waned, and she found herself at many ASU volleyball games during her time as a Sun Devil. She also received her MBA from Grand Canyon University (Go Lopes!), and has trouble choosing who to root for! Kristina reignited her volleyball passion when she found herself coaching her younger sister's volleyball teams through to club, which ultimately led to her own daughter joining club volleyball at age 11. She decided to open Magnitude Volleyball Club with co-director, Molly, to encourage junior girls to develop their skills on and off the court, while providing a safe, honest, and fun space to grow.
Our Volleyball Director, Molly Minich, developed a deep passion for the game at a very young age. Growing up in small-town Iowa, there were no clubs or private coaching in the area. With very limited resources, she developed her skills off of the rooftop of her garage. She received a volleyball scholarship to Waldorf University in Northern Iowa, where she played all four years of her college career. She led the team in service percentage as well as digs/sets in her junior and senior years. After graduation, Molly moved to Arizona, where she continued to grow her skills by adding coaching to her repertoire. She has been the Head Coach for multiple clubs across the Valley, ranging in ages from 12 to 18, and also coaches recreational volleyball to younger athletes. She was recruited to coach at Casper College in Wyoming, helping lead them to their first National Tournament in 12 years, where they finished 10th in the nation! She is currently the Varsity/Head Coach for Skyline High School in Mesa.
